Setting Up VPN on Windows 10 VPS – Speed & DHCP/SecureNAT Issues

Hello everyone,

I’m setting up a Windows 10 VPS as a VPN server. The connection works, but the download and upload speeds are inconsistent and very slow (2–20 Mbps), compared to my home network at 350 Mbps and the VPS at 500 Mbps.

After some research, I learned it might help to avoid using the built-in DHCP and SecureNAT features. However, I couldn’t find clear instructions for configuring this properly on Windows.

When I tried using Windows DHCP server tools and disabled SecureNAT, the client received an IP but had no internet access. I also installed a Microsoft Loopback Adapter and created a new bridge on SE, but still couldn’t connect to the internet.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. This is a Windows 10 VPS with a static IP setup.
