Hi,

I have a problem with user access on my server folder.
I share my Data with my colleagues. But we all have different access on folders.

On local network, this is work good. Some users have access and other don't have access.
But when I use Sofether VPN I have access to all folder... but I shouldn't ! I don't understant why I have access with VPN an not access in local.

Coul'd you help me ?

My configuration :
Server 2012
Softether VPN Server Manager (on server)
Softether VPN client Manager (on clients)
I don't have Active Directory, so I don't have domain
But I have different users on my server, on local with differents right to access folder

Thank you in advance.

Sorry for my English, I'm French...

Regards,

Accessing with LAN and with VPN are same for file sharing server.
If there is difference, there is account or permission problem in sharing server settings.

Hi,

If the problem comes from the server settings, Do you know if it's from "shared settings" or "security settings" ?
Because in LAN this is wroks good, there is no problem with security, but with VPN users are all access.

But I haven't NT domain... may be this is the problem ?

Thank you

Could you check ACL whether everyone can read the shared folder?
