connection but no change in internet ip address

I have setup a softether server on my home pc and softether client on my laptop. laptop and home pc are connected to different laptops.

selected in server setup to use vpn azure

I can connect and ping the server, but there is no change in my ipaddress of my laptop computer.

posts have been open in windows firewall by softether 443/tcp. using same in client.

have tried 5555 port also. no change.

any thoughts?

Where is the Client Laptop located when you try to connect to your home SE-server? Does the Client Laptop display a popup after it connects telling you is received an IP address from the remote DHCP server?
Did you enable the "Local Bridge" OR "sercureNAT" feature on the SE server?
