Post by Galactic » Mon Nov 11, 2019 6:12 am

Hi All

This should be a simple one

I have SoftEther installed and working on a VPS with secure NAT enabled all working good

but i need to port forward a port from the ETH0 on the server to a particular VPN Client

Example below
Incomming
Public IP 10.44.55.147
Port 6000
Destination
VPN Client
IP: 192.168.8.10
Port: 6000

What is the question?!

Edit: now I think you need router, what has SE to do with port forwarding? It is a tunnel not router

I need to bridge the ETH0 Adapter to the VPN Client
to allow ports from the ETH0 adapter to communicate with the VPN Client Connected

can you explain (you understand) what "port forwarding" means for vpn tunnel?

I attach picture, where you needed port forwarding?

Hi All

sky has kind of got what i need

So SoftEther is installed on a VPS

I need if traffic hits the VPS Public IP on Port 6050 it needs to send that traffic to a particular user connected to the VPN example below

PUBLIC IP :6000 ------> VPN CLIENT (IP: 192.168.30.10)

This is done at router:
Public ip:6000----->192.168.1.1:6000

Device with running server connect to router:
On 192.168.1.1 is connected SE server

If SE server acts as a bridge then vpn connection is not accessible from piblic ip = this is the principle of vpn! To keep vpn separate from internet!!

You have to make picture what you want - i am afraid you do not know what you want
