Okay so currently I wanted to use SoftEther to connect my employees to my server for work. (Freenas box)
So I setup SoftEather in a VM and removed its default gateway address.
This worked! I can now connect my employees to my server via lan and they don't get internet.
A. I wanted them to access my freenas box not my internet! so this is the correct effect
So the issue is that i noticed tv's and wifi repeaters etc kept going off. I found out my devices were trying to use 192.168.30.etc as there Ips and dns
I manually fixed this but i want to know how is this a thing? How can i fix it
