I am an IT consultant but new to SoftEther. I have setup the server on a remote Windows 10 machine. I can not connect from my home Mac. I have tried connecting via the softether and azure DDNS, as well as directly to the IP.

Based on the images you posted I'm assuming you want to connect using L2tp/ IPsec. If so you will need to open/forward UDP ports 500 & 4500 to the SoftEther server Host (Win10 Machine) local IP address.

I also have problem with connection and maybe you can help me as well, since installing some MS updates I cannot connect to VPNs using the Win10 built in client. OpenVPN, forticlient and nortel all work ok though.
A ping to a.root-servers.net which is successful and the connect screen showing that my connection to vodafone is up but the VPN Icons still show not available like I'm offline.
