Running Bridge and Client on same computer

Greetings,
I am running kernel 6.14.0-37 on a x86_64 bit laptop with Cinnamon v: 6.4.8 GTK v: 3.24.41.The machine has two Ethernet ports.
I would like to run vpnbridge to provide connectivity to the vpnserver for other devices connected to one of the Ethernet ports through a switch. I have done so for about a year using a dedicated bridge computer.
Now I would also like to use the laptop as the vpnbridge host but also connect the laptop to the remote network.
Can I run vpnclient simultaneously with vpnbridge?
