Is there any way to delete an exist ddns record after uninstall the softether VPN server
I deploy softether vpn server few years go ,domain name is xxxvpn.softehter.net, and it was resolved to my ip 103.x.xx.xx,
but now some another one have stop the vpn server and delete all my vpn install directory for more than 24hours.
when i check the domain name xxxvpn.softether.net (ping the domain name in windows cmd),i found that it was still resolved to my ip address 103.x.xxx.xx
Due to the existence of this DDNS resolution record, certain compliance procedures within our company cannot proceed. If there any way to delete this DDNS record, please inform us as soon as possible. Thank you very much.thanks.

I've seen this reply before, but in my case, the software has already been uninstalled by someone else, the installation directory has been deleted, and it can no longer be restarted. In other words, my DDNS key is now lost. Are there any other more detailed steps I can follow?

Since this compliance does not require backups, there is nothing you can do about it without the random-generated key from your vpn_server.config file.yeyi999999 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 2:13 pm...certain compliance procedures within our company cannot proceed.

- connect to any VPN Gate server
How should I operate it?

Re: Is there any way to delete an exist ddns record after uninstall the softether VPN server
thank you very much ,i found many vpngate server on this page, but there is another question, which one should i used to connect vpngate server, the softether server or softether client on my windows PC, I can't find where to configure the SoftEther server to connect to the VPNGate server, and I don't understand the purpose of using another VPN client to connect to other VPNGate servers for unbinding DDNS domains and IP addresses too. What is the purpose of this step?

There is no way to "unbind" or delete it, only replace it. Pick any vpngate and your IP will now resolve to the VPN's. Just follow the above-linked instructions precisely.yeyi999999 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 25, 2025 2:13 pmi found that it was still resolved to my ip address 103.x.xxx.xx
