Warning : AVG2014

Post by mesa57 » Tue Oct 29, 2013 10:12 am

Last week my free edition of avg2013 was updated to avg2014.
As a result the softether server service stopped working after restart of the XP machine.
The service start repeatitly crashed with error 1067 (unresolved exception).
Removing avg2014 resulted in softether server working again.

AVG did not report any activity during start of the vpn server.
Maybe there are detailed logs, but I do not know where to find them (yet).
As the production machine is already without AVG, I will have to reproduce the problem on a virtual machine.

Installing on a new VM : no problem at all ....
I do not like this, but I am going to try an install of avg2014 from scratch on the production machine.
