OpenVPN without certificates

Post by klsop » Mon Oct 14, 2019 10:14 pm

I'm trying to setup my SoftEther VPN server to be able to accept OpenVPN connections from clients.

The problem is, even with the

Code: Select all

option in the .ovpn file, I still get the
You must define CA file (--ca) or CA path (--capath)
error message.

Is there any way to setup SoftEther so that it accepts OpenVPN connections without certificates and keys?

If that's not possible, does anyone have a tutorial/guide on how to create these certificates and keys? I tried using the XCA Windows app but I get all sorts of TLS failure error messages with that.
